Non è una vera e propria nave militare (USNS e non USS) ma era dal gennaio 2009 che non vedevamo in porto una "nave grigia" americana. Segue ... Expand Scafo in alluminio con forme di catamarano, raggiunge circa 45 nodi. Una classe di 15 unità adibite soprattutto al trasporto veloce interteatro. La vedo spesso (marine trafic) in navigazione fra Suda e Augusta, o fra Augusta e Rota. Qualche volta l'abbiamo intercettata nello Stretto, ma non ho idea su cosa sia venuta a fare a Messina, se non per dare la possibilità all'equipaggio (in grandissima parte civile) di passare il Ferragosto sulla terraferma. ... si sono proprio brutte, scatole di scarpe galleggianti e semoventi.
