BAIAMONTI was built as SARAJEVO, a passenger steamer launched on 6.11.1937 and completed in 4.1938  by the Jadranska Brodogradilista A.D. in Split, yard no. 26,  for the Jadranska Plovidba dd of Split (Spalato), 479 grt and 272 nrt, 49.7 x 7.7 m, triple expansion engine, 1.230 ihp, 15 kts. She fell into Italian hands at Split in April 1941  and was managed  by the Ferrovie dello Stato;  sunk in Messina by air raid on 15. 8 1943. Raised in 1945 and returned to Yugoslavia as SINJ for the Jadranska Linijska Plovidba at Split, in 1966 ANTIKA  for the Atlas Turisticko Poduzece, Split. Broken up  15.1.1978 by Brodospas always  at Split.
