Osservando meglio ho notato che questo dettaglio dovrebbe raffigurare una nave da battaglia della Regia Marina: ... inutile dire che aspetto il vostro aiuto per identificare la nave. Una nota per Carabiniere: la foto è più antica di quelle che ti ho già inviato (anche se non fosse del 1870), sulla destra si vedono i locali del Lazzaretto trasformati o in corso di trasformazione in carbonili. Conterosso Posted March 31, 2018 Report Share Posted March 31, 2018 La presenza di tre piroscafi mercantili con la fascia bianca sul fumaiolo nero, ovvero i colori della Navigazione Generale Italiana, farebbe pensare che la foto sia posteriore al 1881. Anno di fondazione di tale compagnia. I piroscafi della NGI, ex Florio, facevano regolare scalo nel porto di Messina.
